Dr. Ushi previously built a distinguished career at Guinness Nigeria (a Diageo subsidiary), where he held several critical roles including Senior Brewer, Shift Manager (Packaging), Quality Assurance Manager, and Quality Assurance Technologist. In these capacities, he operated within world-class manufacturing environments, strengthening quality systems, optimizing high-speed packaging operations, and upholding rigorous food safety and quality standards.
Earlier in his career, he served as Production Manager at Amex Brown Limited, where he developed strong foundations in production planning, team leadership, and manufacturing operations within the food industry.
He holds a PhD in Public Administration, equipping him with advanced capabilities in governance, policy implementation, and organizational leadership. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology and holds professional certification from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling (IBD), London.
