Yakub Olowookere is a seasoned transportation and logistics professional and the Head of Haulage and Logistics at Zenco Group Limited, where he leads the planning, coordination, and optimization of the Group’s fleet, haulage, and logistics infrastructure across its subsidiaries. His work ensures that logistics operations support business growth efficiently while maintaining high standards of operational discipline and cost control.

With extensive experience in large-scale fleet and logistics management, Yakub has held senior roles in Nigeria’s logistics sector, including Transport and Logistics Manager at VAVA Furniture Nigeria Limited and General Manager of the Haulage Division at Chisco Transport Nigeria Limited. In these roles, he implemented process improvements, optimized fleet utilization, and strengthened operational
performance for enterprise clients.

Yakub holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from the University of Lagos and a Master’s degree in Transport Planning and Management. He has also completed professional and executive programs in logistics, haulage operations, commercial viability, and brand management and he’s a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered).

Known for his disciplined approach, analytical thinking, and ability to deliver results under pressure, Yakub aligns closely with Zenco Group’s focus on governance, accountability, and long-term value creation. Under his leadership, the Group’s logistics backbone has become more scalable, resilient, and
